A LARGE QING BLUE AND WHITE ENAMELLED DRAGON DISH. CHU XIU GONG ZHI SEAL MARK. Dimension : Around 31.5 cm in diameter.

Condition : Some usage of light scratches. Mark and Period : 19th to 20th century - during the decline of Qing Empire, after the looting of the Summer Palace.

Hence, the dish was produced in rushing manner and does not reflect of Finer times of Yong Zheng and Qian Long Period. A large blue and white enamelled dragon dish, Chu xiu gong zhi seal mark, 19th/20th century.

The interior painted in white glaze and underglaze blue with a dragon leaping amidst clouds and flames in pursuit of pearls within a further band of dragons, all reserved against a deep blue ground -- around12 3/8in.
