A Large Vintage Oriental Chinese Table Lamp Blue Crackle Glaze Antique Style

  

This is a Very Large Vintage Oriental Chinese Table Lamp. This lamp has the form of an Antique temple Vase and comes with a beautiful decorative and rarely found GE Blue coloured crackle glaze. The lamp has a hand painted large Oriental birds on two sides with large panels of hand painted floral detailing between. The lamp also has painted borders at the top and bottom.

Painted decorations are made in a Dark Blue colour. The lamp comes with a composite moulded Wooden base and Brass fittings.

Please see my Images for the best description. Age is approx 1970s Overall Height 53 Cm x 22 Cm Diameter Wiring is good & the lamp works well. The lamp comes with a modern switched bulb holder that takes a large bayonet fitting bulb - Wiring is earthed. Condition is very good for age. The lamp is free of damage...

The lamp has only minor marks from use & some brass tarnish. There are various small marks in the glaze from manufacture. The lamp is very heavy, solid and is made from good quality ceramics. The wooden base has signs of life and a few scuffs to the bottom area of its 4 raised feet from use.
