It depicts a standing lion within a casket in the form of a crowned crest resting on a colorful fertile soil.

This was possibly done for the French market, and it has especially beautiful gilt, red and blue borders. It measures 9.25 in diameter. Overall, the plate is in excellent condition. It is free of chips, cracks, or crazing. There is light wear to the gilt, and the piece presents very well. This quote is for the Continental U.
