Large Antique Cantonese Carved Table Snuff Box, c. 1840. Deeply Decorated. 11cm

  

A beautifully carved and large snuff box, deeply carved with figures and animals in landscape, a pagoda boat and buildings. The base with a vacant cartouche. Overall the condition is very good.

There is a little splitting with a small amount of old glue at what I can only presume are the joins on the edge, a few small chips and nibbles on the edge etc, I have illustrated a sample of the more noticeable areas in the images.
