Large Ming Dynasty Glazed Tomb Figure - CHINA - Circa 1368 to 1644. Classic example of a large glazed terracotta tomb figure from ancient China. Measures a tall 16 inches, including the separately molded head. Field repairs throughout, as expected with these fragile figures. Old loss to proper right hand, large crack to shoulder, and major repair to base, with restoration and overpaint (see last 5 photos).
