Century Large Oriental Shipwreck Basalt Storage Jar. This impressive basalt storage jar is adorned with marine encrustation making it totally unique.

It is from the personal collection belonging to Dorrian Ball who is famed for shipwreck recoveries such as the Diana Cargo c1816 and the famous Nanking Cargo c1750. Four carrying lugs below the neck with bears a flared rim. A truly fine and most decorative shipwreck vase.
