Stunning Large Antique Chinese Embroidered Silk Piano Shawl

  

For sale is this lovely antique Chinese embroidered silk piano shawl of a large size. Well embroidered all over with a mix of red, pink, purple, blue and pale orange flowers and varying shades of green foliage against a cream silk ground.

This shawl measures 165cm by 162cm with another 60cm of silk fringe. Condition overall is good, with some scattered marks and a larger pale mark (lower left side) all shown in the photos provided. There is only very slight fading to the front compared to the back and a scattering of stray threads, however the shawl displays very well indeed. The silk is in very good strong condition with no fraying, holes or tears. Due to the size and weight of this shawl it will be couriered to international destinations and the final cost will be confirmed after sale.
