Large and very attractive Blue ground with gilding Qianlong period Chinese Bowl in the European taste. Unusual pattern with a deep rich blue ground and enamelled pheasants and flying birds set in 4 separate white cartouches. There is also rich gilding to the blue enamel ground which has survived pretty much intact.
The interior of the bowl is decorated in sprigs of enamelled flowers to the edge and a central flowering plant in iron red underglaze with gold and red enamel decoration all set in a double circular ring.
