A large Chinese Swatow ware Dish dating from the ming period, Late 16th to early 17th century. The face of the dish is decorated with foliage and fish, with a lovely crackle glaze. There are a couple of chips around the rim, and some cracks that look like breaks but they are only cracks in the glaze.
This is a nice deep dish and has a good foot too. Its in excellent condition for its age and a must for the collector. Height = 8.4 cm (3.3") Width = 35 cm (13.8") Depth = 35 cm (13.8).
