The rich colour of the silkwork is striking and would easily become the central focal of any room. The mother of pearl is all present with no losses. Originally a bi-fold screen which could easily, if required be reconstructed however, in my opinion they are much more suited as wall hangings. The carved pediments on top appear to have been added at a later date and with the help.
