Antique / vintage Oriental burr elm chest. Burr elm with brass corners and decoration. Front opening with two small doors, original working lock and key. Carry handles on either side.

Handle but no drawer on the front. It measures 80cms wide by 40cms deep by 49cms tall.

The wood is thin and the chest is quite lightweight. A few scuffs, some tarnish to the brass. Inside the doors where the inner panel draws across there is a small piece of beading missing, see photo 12.
