A stunning large Chinese elm wood food carrier with floral banding and decoration with Chinese classical scenes, with fixed carrying handle and sliding drawer underneath. Inside is lacquered in a redish colour. Box measures 15.5" / 39.5cm by 8" / 20cm and 10.5"/ 27cm in height, with handle 18" / 46cm in height. Wear to the decoration as shown, with no structural damage spotted. A fabulous collectable and decorative piece.
