C1700 Chinese Kangxi Large Prunus Style Ginger Jar. A very fine, large size, antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi Reign porcelain blue and white Ginger Jar, decorated in the flowering prunus branches. The blue background has been particularly well achieved, with a very deep colour. It has a formal border around the top and bottom rim. It has a circular jar lid with a flat top, also decorated with prunus flowers. The vase has an unglazed raised narrow rounded neck.

Condition is extremely good, without any chips or cracks. Size: 22 x 24 cm (8 5/8 x 9 ½ inches) Weight: 2255 g. Have a look at our other items.
