South East Antiques are pleased to offer this unusual vintage apothecarys chest. Dating from the Chinese Republic Period, this herbalists chest is finished in black and distressed red lacquer. It has a plain top over anarrangement of 22 drawers each with applied label and stylised gao zong coin handle. The chest is in sturdy vintage condition and free from woodworm.
