Early 20th Century Large Famille Rose Temple Jar

  
Here we have a stunning large temple jar of large proportions, the jar is decorated on the famille rose design with the exotic bird amongst flora and fauna to the front and groups of figures to the sides the bird is prepared on the rear of the item. The lid is decorated with flora and fauna and the top is finished if with a dog of foo.

A simply lovely jar that is clear and bright has no damage no cracks or chips any wear is age related as one would expect. The lid is intact as is the dog of FOO. On the inside of the lid on the inner rim is an old chip but this is on the very inside and has nothing to do with the outside of the jar.

Height of jar to the tip of the dog of foo. Around 18 1/2 inches or 47 centimetres. Approximate circumference of widest point of jar.
