An extra large antique Chinese pith painting depicting birds. These watercolor paintings on pith are exceptional big in size. Normally pith paper are small in size because the paper is very difficult to make. The paintings are still vivid and the colors are still bright after more than 250 years.

Frame size: W14 inches (35.5cm) H8.5 inches (21.5cm). Painting size: W11.5 inches (29 cm) H6.5 inches (16.5cm).

Condition: Good antique condition with a small. Hairline tear on the white background of the right side of the painting can be seen in picture 1, 2, 3. Some loss of painting on the wooden frame. Please check out all the pictures.
