A fantastic large pair of 19c japanese "Imari" fluted and crimped neck vases dating to C1890. Fabulous colours of iron red/orange, green and blue. They are in amazing condition considering there age with only two very small[i mean small] to just one neck[see photo's]. The bodies are immaculate and free from damage. They are very well painted with a variety of flowers and ferns etc with beautiful birds[i think they are cranes].
A most impressive size measuring nearly 22 inches high[55cm] and a full 28 inches round the centre[71cm]. I have had many oriental vases over the years and most have been damaged but to find a pair of this size and in superb condition is a rarity.I would prefer collection for obvious reasons but could possibly deliver depending where you live for fuel cost or meet half way. The bronze is not included but for sale on separate listing. This item is in the category "Antiques\Asian/Oriental Antiques\Chinese\Vases".
