Here we have an extremely fine antique Chinese Canton enamel box. 18th or 19th century enamel on copper.

Finely painted with excellent detail in the Chinese taste. Good early enamel colours with floral decoration on Yellow ground , The white enamel shows plenty of dark flecks as you want to see in the earlier pieces.

Some of the gilding to the copper body rims and feet have worn away and one of the feet has been damaged as shown in pictures but otherwise a fine example in excellent condition.
