A very attractive set of four black lacquered Chinese wall panels with mother of pearl / carved stone detailing. They are very ornate depicting various scenes with Geisha women and dates from some time mid 20th century m. In reality they are far more beautiful and move and shimmer as they catch the light and as you view from different angle. They each measures 36 inches tall by 12 inches wide and weigh 2kg each making them, as we did, easy to stick on a wall invisibly. Condition is very good, some age related wear here and there, but no missing carved pieces as far as I can see.
