LARGE Antique Chinese 19th c. Blue White Porcelain Landscape Brush Washer Qing

  

A large, heavy and unusual antique Chinese early 19th century blue and white porcelain two piece landscape brush washer, dating to circa the early 1800s. This wonderful and unusual Qing dynasty blue and white brush washer consists of a large base and open domed lid beautifully decorated all over with an extensive and elaborate landscape scene with mountains, temples, lakes, rocks, trees, figures, birds and a buffalo. The brush washer measures approximately 10 inches across and about 6 3/4 inches high. The lid of the brush washer has two short hairlines and an impact chip inside.

There are a couple of frits to the edge of where the two pieces meet. The base is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is all over general wear. Thanks for looking and please check out my other items! LARGE Antique Chinese 19th c.
