Large Antique Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Laughing Buddha w. Kids Marked

  

Highly collectible Antique Chinese porcelain Buddha decorated with playful little kids all around; symbolizing fertility. The kids are playing all around Buddha and are decorated with many wonderful colors. The glaze on the Buddha is excellent and the age of the figure in my best opinion is between late 19th Century and early 20th Century circa 1880s 1940s.

For its age the Buddha is in excellent condition with no damage on the piece at all. There is one small area that looks like a possible manufacturing defect that is between his feet which can be seen in the last photo. The size of the statue is large and measures 12 inches tall and the base measures are roughly 10 inches x 6 1/2 inches.
