Large Antique Faience Longwy Style Pottery Vase Oriental Chinese Design 52 cm

  

This is a beautiful vintage vase with a height of 52 cm, perfect for use as a stick or umbrella stand. The primary material is pottery, and it has a unique design with an oriental influence, although I believe it could be of French origin. The sgraffito and faience finish is very similar to the Longwy factory, it even has the typical crazing to the glaze.

As you can see the base has a scratched number 58/10. I have included images all round and hope you can see that overall the vase is in good condition. There is a small chip to base edge and a fine line to the glaze, which does not continue into the pottery body and is mentioned for accuracy. This vase will make an excellent addition to any home, and it is sure to impress visitors with its unique oriental design. Please note this does not include Highlands and Islands or Northern Ireland.
