An absolutely exquisite Chinese Export porcelain Famille Rose punch bowl. Hand painted in the fabulous Mandarin palette with a footed base.
Hsiang fang Xianfeng only reigned for ten years from July 1831 - August 1861. The hunting scene depicts two horse riders and hounds inside the bowl. On the outside is four riders riding with the hounds against a background of pine and cherry blossom trees with an estate building. An enchanting addition for the collector of Chinese fine ceramics, displays beautifully wherever the bowl is placed.
