Chinese Vase with Jade Spring Hill Design. A very nicely produced Chinese porcelain vase. It is decorated with a Jade Spring Hill design in the Qianlong style. The main scenes are painted in monochromatic teal with some red dots and there are formal border patterns in blue.

The base has a Yongzheng reign mark, although the famous originals of these are Qianlong of course. It also mimics to some extent the Republic style copies of the Qianlong pieces.

Date wise this is a late 20th century example just made to emulate the style and of course be affordable now that the Republic period examples are out of reach for most people. It allows you create the look without the crazy cost. Good order, just minor wear. Height: 46.5 cm (14 3/8 inch).
