Large Chinese Patinated Bronze Vase with Engraved Characters Ikebana

  

A large Chinese bronze vase with decorative patination and engraved characters around the top. It was probably intended as an ikebana piece, and perhaps dating to the 1970's or so. Other than the characters around the top there are no further marks to the base.

The vase is substantial enough to make a feature piece and certainly heavy enough to be useful for making a good display. Some wear to the patination in places and some scuffs and scratches. See images for general appearance of the exterior.
