Large Chinese Porcelain Bowl Antique 19 C Famillie Rose

  
Beautiful wide Chinese porcelain hexagonal convex eating bowl, on a wide round foot that follows a widening, rounded and concave corpus, ending in a white lip. The corpus is hand painted all around on a beautiful blue background with a floral famille rose decor filled in with different enamels such as green, iron red, pink, and blue.

I believe this is called the Bao Xiang Hua (Lotus scroll) pattern. The inside and the base has a turquoise-coloured glaze.

The foot has a wide round flat base ring. The bowl was likely made at the end of the 19th century, late Guangxu Imperial period or during the early Republic Period. Size is H 7.5 cm x D 19 cm.
