It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It shows signs of usage over the tears with the colour of the base and edge of the bowl which only adds to it authentic look. (Could be cleaned if desired). It is a eye catching design of Koi Carp fish and almost every fish has a slightly different expression. The ginger jar has been an iconic piece for collectors over the last century.
