A Nanking Cargo porcelain tea bowl and saucer, decorated in the'Blue Pine' pattern featuring intertwining pine trees on a rocky terrace. This set is the larger. Of the two sizes that were salvaged. Christie's labels to the base - both lot number 5528.

The tea bowl measures 4cm tall and 7.5cm in diameter; the saucer has a diameter of 11.5cm. There is some very minor fritting to the rims of both pieces as well as a few small firing flaws, most notably a small perferation to the well of the saucer.
