A Nanking Cargo bowl decorated in the'Scholar on Bridge' pattern featuring a scholar crossing a bridge between two rocky islets with a pavillion beside pine and other trees. Measures 9cm tall and 18.5cm in diameter (three sizes of this bowl were salvaged - this is one of the large sized bowls). There are a few tiny patches of missed glaze near the outer rim, two faint hairlines and a small rim frit. Otherwise in very good condition with typical small firing flaws.
