Elaborate padded embroidery of Figure of Chinese Immortal horseback on Kilin in the center, surrounded with amazing flowers and flying bat, made in. Silk threads in Finest Satin Stitches Technique on a vivid red ground. Main panel is finished all around with finely embroidered in a gorgeous traditional Chinese woven border.

It lined in old cotton material and signed in the lower corner, pic. The back side is shown on the photo #11. Attributed to the late 19th Century late Qing era. 48 3/4" - 49" long x 29 wide - total size including woven borders on each side. Perfect antique condition considering to the age, some very slight soiling, one small hole at the left hand very border, the lining shows some soiling and fading mostly along the folds.
