Very Imposing Superb and rare Chinese Export Qianlong period (1736-95) soup tureen 36cm (14) in length. Painted with panels of river landscapes, pagodas and mountains with a very unusual pomegranate handle , within wide floral, lattice and floret borders.

Also with a charming pair of boar handles. The lid has been restored at some point in its history with a glue repair but the actual crack on the item is not very visible. There is a chipped ear on one of the boar handles ears on the base. It has been priced to take account of the.

This is a very large and wonderful tureen. Beautifully decorated and authentic to the mid 18th Century when it was made. Dimensions: Length 36cm (14") width 23cm (8.5") and height 21.5cm (8.5).
