Spectacular Large Antique Chinese Wood Statue 2ft God Longevity Shou Lao

Spectacular - exceptionally well carved and attractive this piece stands an impressive 2ft in height. The statue most likely dates to the 1800s and the standard of the carving is exceptionally fine. There are a couple of age cracks to the wood as would be expected in a piece of this age - one near the base with a small piece of wood missing. Another near the top of the staff (please refer to photos).

An incredibly fine and attractive example of its type - with a captivating attention to detail and expression. On a piece of such magnificence.
