Unusual 18th C Large Chinese Underglaze Blue Nanking Moulded Porcelain Tankard. Presenting a Highly Unusual, Rather Rare Antique Chinese Underglaze Blue Hand Painted Porcelain Tankard which Dates to the Kangxi Era of the Qianlong Period. Circa 1700+ Bell Shaped in Form, with Spread Bottom, the Shape Derives from Silver or Pewter Tankards found in Sea Captains Cabins, this Example has been Moulded with Ridges with Chrysanthemum Rim, which is Rather Unusual for a Tankard, and can usually be found on Kangxi Imari Bowls and Plates. Finely Executed Nanking Scene, Depicting a Fisherman in a Continuous Landscape With Fern Design to Handle.
