Vintage Very Large Chinese Blue & White'Dragons Chasing The Pearl' Lidded Pot. A very nice and very large, round, bulbous, lidded pot on blue and white ground decorated with a classic scene of two dragons chasing a flaming pearl amidst a sea scape of clouds. Marked'Made in China' to the base in a mark that dates the pot to the 1930's to 1960's period - either Republic or People's Republic.

The pot and lid (including finial) are both in excellent condition with no chips or cracks at all. Please see pictures for more information. This is a very large pot at 25cm high including lid, 23cm diameter and it weighs 2.05kg. A very beautiful item of an unusual apple shape. A fantastic and striking decorative piece.
